Biographical Details

Ernest was born at Prahran in 1894 and enlisted in the 2nd Australian Motor Transport Company in September 1916. He left Melbourne on the Persic in December and after initial training in England he proceeded to the Front where he was detached to the Field Ambulance Battalion in June 1917. Ernest returned to Australia in March 1919. From 1925 until his death in 1967 he lived in and around Melbourne.
