Biographical Details

Cecil was born in 1875 and a brother of Charles, 1914 enlistment. He fought in the Boer War receiving a Distinguished Conduct Medal and later worked for the South African Railways. He enlisted with the South African army in 1914 and saw service in German South West Africa and then in Europe. He returned to South Africa after the war, and died in Durban in 1945.
