Biographical Details

Harold was just 18 when he enlisted in the 3rd Light Horse Brigade in April 1917. Leaving Melbourne in June he disembarked at Suez and spent his war years in Egypt and Palestine. He returned to Australia in June 1919 and married Rosa Shaw in May 1922. He died in 1960 in Sydney.
