Biographical Details

Harold was baptised at Holy Trinity and attended the Sunday School. He was educated at Geelong Grammar and the University of Sydney before becoming a metallurgist. He enlisted at Melbourne in April 1915 and was then recommended for officer training. Harold embarked for Egypt in the following September and left Egypt for France in June 1916. One month later he was killed in action and buried at the Southern cemetery, Calais.
